It’s never to soon to start taking care of your skin. As we grow older it becomes more important to consider a skin care routine that allows us to look our best at every age.

Skin is the only organ in our body that is constantly reproducing itself. Every 6-8 weeks, one third of your skin cells are replaced by fresh new cells created at the base of the dermis. The old cells make their way to the skin’s surface, creating a keratinized barrier. These cells are protective, but leave your skin looking dull and thick.

As we age our DNA gets damaged through over-exposure to sun and environmental toxins, so unfortunately the new cells are not as vital as they were when we were younger.

We are so lucky today to have so many options to correct and retain beautiful fresh glowing skin. It is never too early to start caring for your skin! Over the next few weeks on this blog, I will be describing some of the options available to get your skin looking its best at any age.

We always welcome you to come in for a free skin consultation; give us a call, or click below to email us.
